This Friday is Veteran’s Day. Let’s remember to thank a soldier.

Growing up, people were not hoarders they were pack rats. Being a “pack rat” was an eccentricity.My eyes were opened in 1999 when Roger moved into my family’s three flat in Chicago. The hall leading to his room was stacked floor to ceiling with papers. His bedroom was so packed there was only a narrow path leading to his bed. Roger was not a pack rat. He suffered from compulsive hoarding.
